After a couple of early scares Searle was beaten 11-10 in the final by Peter Wright. £9.25 to the kitty.

The bet: Peter Wright to win 18-13 or 18-14 - £2 @11/2

What happened: Wright raced into an 8-2 lead and although Dimitri van den Bergh got the deficit back to four at one point Wright raced away to an 18-9 win.

What happened:

Scheffler was tied for fourth going into the weekend, four shots off the lead.

Thomas and Schauffele made the cut but were 10 and 11 shots back respectively.

Grace and Higgo missed the cut.

After three rounds Schauffele had slipped to two over with Thomas level par. With the leader on 12 under Scheffler was tied fourth, four shots back...

... Thomas finished tied 40th at one under, a 65 on the last day saw Schauffele finished tied for 26th at three under. Schauffele stumbled to a +1 final round to leave him eight behind the winner but in a tie for eighth place giving us a pick up of £2.75.

What happened?:

Higgo missed the cut but the other four were all in for the weekend. After Saturday's play Cantlay looked out of the running but the rest were all in the top ten.

On the final day Cantlay finished with a two under par round to finish one over for the tournament and tied for 15th.

Schauffele and Scheffler finished tied seventh, one place outside the money on one under.

Rahm finished birdie-birdie to pip Louis Oosthuizen to the title.  Get in! £17 in the pot.

What happened:

Schauffele missed the cut.

Bradley and Hovland both started with two under par rounds before fading to T-17th and T-30th respectively.

Spieth only just finished on the right side of the cut line and went on to join Hovland in equal 30th place.

Nothing for the pot.

2021 - World Snooker Championship

What happened: 10-4 up on Shaun Murphy in the semi-finals it was looking good. Then Murphy clicked and ran away with it, coming out a 17-12 winner.

A free one pound bet on Murphy when the score was 10-6 at least brought us £4 in a loss limited kind of way.

How it went:

Berger missed the cut.

After a good second round Thomas put himself in the shake-up but fell away after a poor third round to finish level par for the tournament in equal 21st.

Harman started with two 69s to be one shot behind going into the weekend. Two 74s meant he fell out of the top ten in the last few holes and finished joint 12th - one shot off a pick-up.

Three 72s from Rahm left him outside green jacket contention but a storming last day 66 saw him up to equal fifth, four behind the winner.

£6.40 goes into the pot.

Clayton qualified for the semi-finals on the last night of the league season. He then took down Michael van Gerwen 10-8 in the semi-finals before beating Jose de Sousa 11-5 in the final. Winner!
