2023 US Masters

The bets:

Rory McIlroy to win £4 @7/1

(following all 1/5 odds e/w)

Jordan Spieth £2 e/w 14/1 (12 places)
Jason Day £2 e/w 20/1 (12 places)
Max Homa £1 e/w 25/1 (10 places)
Tyrell Hatton £1 e/w 45/1 (10 places)

What happened:

With the leaders on seven under after the first round Day was two shots behind but the rest of our selections were varying degrees off the pace. Spieth was three under, Hatton and Homa one under while McIlroy returned a level par 72.

Day and Spieth ended day two on five under, seven off the lead. Hatton and Homa both made the cut albeit 12 strokes behind Brooks Koepka. McIlroy missed the cut.

After a rain-interrupted third round Day was three under, eight behind. Spieth fell back to one under with Hatton and Homa both at level par.

Day had a final round 80 to finish five over in joint 39th, Hatton was one shot better off overall, Homa one worse. Spieth finished with a 66 for a seven under total, five behind winner Jon Rahm.

It was good enough for tied 4th and £7.60 for the pot.
